What you know of America comes from the T.V. Things like the phrase “trailer park trash”, well here is an eatery in New York which is over-flowing with that kind of American Kitsch. The Trailer Park Lounge is a truly American experience, from the decor, which is everything American imaginable: record covers, those funny dolls that sit on the dashboard of cars, Elvis, cartoons, truck driver stuff, old menus, taxis, cocoa cola adverts, Hollywood film posters.. and the list goes on. You simply step into the world of everything Americana memorabilia. Then there is the food, as you can probably guess it is all classical American fare: Hamburgers, chips/french fries, grilled cheese, mac& cheese, BLT, and there are vegetarian options. The home-made chili comes highly recommended. They also make a mean cocktail especially the frozen Margaritas! There is a Tacky Ticki Bar that can serve you up anything from beer to Champagne.
