Vilnius markets for local character and some great shopping!

If you want to shop till you drop; see a slice of local Lithuanian life and visit the largest outdoor market in the Baltic then don’t miss the Gariunia market in Vilnius. They sell everything and it will take you a good few hours to see it all. The market covers about 120 hectares and has both indoor and outdoor stalls and make shift booths. The best way to get there is by taxi, the market is about 4km out of the center on the Kaunas road and you can ask your taxi driver to wait for you or plan with him when he will pick you up. the are clean toilets and a tea room with only locals. In fact you won’t bump in to many tourists here.
Open Hours: Sunday 06:00-14:00; Tuesday and Thursday 04:00-14:00; Saturday 05:00-1400 and on Friday and Monday the market is closed.

There are a lot of fun things to do on Cape Cod. It is an exciting place where you can find amazing beaches, great lodging, good food and wonderful people!
