Where is the Cockroach Hall of Fame ?

Yes believe it or not someone thought enough about these creatures to dedicate a complete museum to them. But the fact that it is a Hall of Fame doesn’t refer to famous roaches but rather to the roles they play in the scenes set up in the museum. The imaginative creator of this exhibit has taken dead cockroaches and dressed them up as famous celebrates and then placed them is miniature scenes. For example you can see Liberoachi (Liberance), Marilyn Monroach and David Letteroach giving an interview. Apart from these inventive dioramas there are some live creatures as well. Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches can be touches at the Cockroach Hall of Fame and even the snack bar has insect inspired snacks.

The brains behind all these creepy crawlies is Micheal Bohdan a pest control specialist who has worked with bugs for the last 20 years. I suppose at least he had easy access to cockroaches to use in his displays. To tell the truth when I first heard about these costumed bugs I thought they were a live and wondered how difficult it must have been to dress them!

Where: NO LONGER AT  – 2231-B West 15th Street,  Plano, Texas, USA

As far as we know Micheal has moved to Phoenix, Arizona, anyone with more information about the roach museum’s new location please let us know.
