Here you will find a crane that was in use until 1996 for lifting and moving timber. It took two years, and a lot of hard work to restore the crane and convert it to luxury accommodation. For another unique feature try going up the narrow stairs to the control cabin where you can turn the 64-ton steel crane 360 degrees, by operating the control stick. In the morning breakfast is hoisted up in a lift and can be eaten on the patio. Although not for claustrophobics or people with vertigo, the Crane Hotel is definitely a once in a lifetime elevating experience.
