Free Dubai Luggage Storage

Dubai luggage storage is available at several locations but only one of them is a FREE Dubai luggage storage service!

Can You Store Luggage in Dubai?

If you’re waiting for a late flight, or you’ve just arrived in Dubai and need to store your luggage, you could keep it in the lockers at Dubai Airport. But it costs 50AED for each suitcase. And even more, if the suitcase is large. But there are other places to store luggage in Dubai. Some Dubai museums will let you leave your luggage, but not if it is a suitcase, and not outside museum open hours. None of these options are ideal, but there is a solution!

Where Can I Store My Luggage in Dubai For Free?

The Mall of the Emirates offers Dubai luggage storage during mall open hours which are 10am to 11pm and until midnight on weekends. The service is free, although you might be asked for a deposit which you will get back when you pick up the luggage. No need to call or book ahead. Just arrive with your suitcases (all sizes), and ask to leave your luggage! It’s simple and free! Can you believe it – something free in Dubai!

Mall of the Emirates Digital Concierge

The mall has an excellent service called “Digital Concierge”. It is a Whatsapp chat with a real person – not a robot! If you have any questions about the mall or about the luggage storage you can send them a message and they will answer you. When my friends arrived at the Dubai luggage storage counter in Dubai’s Mall of the Emirates there was no one on duty. I quickly sent the Digital Concierge a message, and within minutes, someone came running to help!

Enter the mall and go to Level 1 MetroLink. That’s L1. There near the entrance to the metro is the luggage counter. Of course, you could also arrive by metro, and the Dubai bag storage counter will be right there as you enter the mall.

Other Places to Store Luggage in Dubai

If for some reason the free Dubai luggage storage at the Mall of the Emirates doesn’t suit you (it should), then there are other solutions:

Places to Leave Your Bags in Dubai

  • Bounce Luggage Storage
  • Stasher
  • Dubai Airport Terminal 1 and 3. There is no luggage storage in terminal 2. (from 40AED/12hrs per bag)
  • Emirate Airlines – If you’re flying with Emirate Airlines you can ask them about their Home Check-in and Land and Leave Service where they will pick up your luggage for you.

Some of the prices are reasonable but remember that each suitcase costs money, so even if they charge 35AED per bag, your total cost could be a lot more. And you need to get back to the storage spot to pick up your bags which is not always as convenient at the Mall of the Emirates where the metro line connects directly to the mall (and there’s great shopping). The airport option sounds great, but their price list is not only by bag but also by the size of the bag. Up to 12 hours of storage costs 35-40AED per bag. And let’s not forget how big Dubai Airport is!

So visit Dubai without having to drag your suitcases around.

Just take the metro to Mall of the Emirates and leave your bags there for free.

It’s safe, easy, and free!
