There are some pretty unique Myrtle beach bars thanks to its role as a cost-effective tourist destination. Bars around here generally offer a combination of good drinks at affordable prices and a mix of entertainment and good views of the ocean. But these bars offer a little extra something.
MIXX Pool Bar, Myrtle Beach Bars
Part of Hotel Blue, an oceanfront Myrtle Beach resort, MIXX is the only swim-up pool bar in the state of South Carolina and one of the few in the South East. When the temperatures border on the obscene during summer in Myrtle Beach, MIXX has you covered since you don’t even have to leave the pool to get another frosty beverage. There are also regular parties every Sunday, known as the Therapy Pool Parties, when the weather is warm, with a DJ, giveaways, and contests.
Banditos Beach Bar
This new bar and restaurant is located right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, offers a fantastic view of the ocean and is on the very end of the Myrtle Beach boardwalk so you can easily walk to other Myrtle Beach attractions before or after a couple of drinks. This Mexican-themed restaurant has great food and over 100 different types of tequila. They’re also the home of one of the hottest hot wing challenges around. Finishing a plate of their hottest hot wings is something very few have been able to accomplish.
There are only a handful of Dicks in the US and if you’ve never been to one it is a fun bar experience. At Dicks bad service is part of the game with waitresses who make fun of you and put you in dunce caps to bar staff who yell at you to stop ordering sissy drinks. But it’s all in good fun and customers are encouraged to insult right back. With a full bar and great food, you won’t be able to help to have a good time here.
Myrtle Beach Bars
There is a lot more to Myrtle Beach than bars, in fact it is one of the hottest travel destinations in the US.
